1 lb asparagus
1 lb puff pastry
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 or 2 eggs, beaten
1. Preheat oven to 400 drgrees. Line a low sided baking pan with parchment paper.
2. Slice pastry widthwise into 1/2" to 3/4" strips (one strip for each asparagus spear). Wrap each spear in a pastry strip, and lay the spears on the baking pan.
3. Use a pastry brush to lightly brush the top of each wrapped spear with the beaten egg, then sprinkle the spears with the parmesan cheese.
4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, till the pastry is golden brown.
